DAY 1:ARRIVE TO LIMA
Upon arrival in Lima, we will transfer you from the airport to your hotel.
DAY 2:LIMA – PARACAS – BALLESTAS ISLANDS – HUACACHINA – NAZCA
Today, early in the morning 04:00 am , we will start our trip to Paracas . On our way we will have a place to get some coffee and box lunch, after that we will continue to Paracas Bay to take the boat tour to the Ballestas Islands, three small islands full of wildlife just a few minutes from the coast.
On the trip to the islands, we will be able to see the «Candelabro», a giant candelabra-shaped geoglift. When we arrive at the Ballestas Islands, we will stay on the boat while observing the frenzy of amazing animals that include noisy but playful seals and sea lions, as well as an abundance of seabirds, including Humboldt penguins, pelicans, curlews, Inca terns, Peruvian boobies, red-footed cormorants, and guanayes.
After our tour of the islands, we will go to Ica region on the way we will make stop at the winery and vineyards places where we will be able to taste piscos and wines, then we will have lunch and head to Ica.
We will visit the oasis of Huacachina, here we will take a buggy ride on the sand and have a sandboarding adventure, at the end of this activity we will go the hotel in Nazca where we spend the night.
DAY 3:NAZCA LINES FLIGHT – LIMA
After breakfast at your hotel, we will transfer you to the airport from where we will take a 30 minutes flight over the incredible Nazca Lines. During this overflight of Nazca Lines, we will be able to see the most fascinating figures such as: the monkey, the hummingbird, the tree, the parrot, the astronaut, the dog, the condor and others.
After this adventure in the Peruvian desert our private transportation will take us back to Lima, where you will stay in a hotel for the night.
DAY 4:FLIGHT LIMA – CUSCO CITY TOUR
After your flight from Lima to Cusco, we transfer you from the airport to your hotel. In the afternoon, our city tour of Cusco will begin, between 13:00hrs and 13:20hrs. First, we will visit the Cathedral of Cusco, located on the Plaza de Armas. Then our tour will continue to Qorikancha (The Temple of the Sun) and the Convent of Santo Domingo as well as to several of the city’s impressive archaeological ruins such as Sacsaywaman, Qenqo, Pukapukara, and Tambomachay. Our tour will finish at the main square. At this time, you might like to enjoy a tasty dinner in one of the many nearby restaurants that the city have to offer. Alternatively, we can arrange to drop you off at your hotel. Just tell your guide what you are in the mood to do.
DAY 5:MACHU PICCHU FULL DAY
Breakfast at the hotel, at the agreed time, transfer to the Ollantaytambo train station to start our trip to the town of Aguas Calientes. Arriving we will go to the Puente Ruinas station, where we will take the buses that will take us to the Lost City of Los Incas, «Machu Picchu», the most famous example of Inca architecture, was discovered in 1911. We will enjoy a guided tour of the main buildings of the citadel such as: El Mirador, Temple of the Three Windows, The Intihuatana, The Main Square, etc At the end of this tour we will take the bus down to the city of Aguas Calientes where we will have lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon departure by train to Cusco. Arrival in Cusco and transfer to the hotel.
DAY 6: RAIMBOW MOUNTAIN
We will pick you up from your hotel around 4:30 am – 5:30 am and head south through the town of Urcos to the district of Checacupe (2 hours by bus) and then follow the road to Pitumarca where we have breakfast.
Then we continue along the road through hamlets until we reach the community of Hanchipata – Quesiuno (1 hour and 20 minutes by bus), the ideal starting point for the trek. We will see incredible mountains like Ausangate, beautiful blue lagoons and many other natural sites.
The hike to Vinicunca (Rainbow Mountain) will take approximately 1 hour and 30 hours. At this peak we will enjoy the view for about an hour taking pictures of the beautiful scenery before descending the trail and returning to our bus.
We will return to Cusipata for lunch and then head back to Cusco.
DAY 7:END OF TOUR
On the last day, you have your morning free at your hotel and in accordance with your scheduled flight you will be transported to the airport.
